In vista disk management, when it says the disk is not initialized there will be a little red arrow on the disk icon on the left of the unallocated space. I thought it could be that the USB ports I was using didn't have enough juice to make it work but, if my old XP laptop can find it and it works perfect, how can my potent Vista x64 rig not have the juice capable of finding the passport? You may try to put your computer in clean boot and check if your driivers drive is recognized. Its neither showing in Disk Management 2. How satisfied are you with this reply? Wdmeb Drivers Download - Western Digital WDME My Passport Essential
